This innovative program helps Health Plan Hawaii health centers improve compliance
with preventive and clinical guidelines promulgated by the National Committee for
Quality Assurance (NCQA) solidifying HMSA’s commitment to promoting delivery of
high-quality, cost-effective and service-oriented care. ISI also works closely
with contracted HMSA healthcare providers to assist them in an emphasis on preventive
health strategies and measurable quality initiatives.
ISI currently contracts with Independent Practice Associations (IPAs) and health centers
in the state offering them assistance with quality and performance
measures, business development, and administrative support. ISI
contracted IPAs receive assistance with effective integration of available
programs including billing, HealthPass participant treatment follow up and reporting.
